N3 announcments Newsgroup access

I just subscribed to N3-announcments newsgroup and I cannot reply or
send a new message to the group.  I am getting an:

Article Rejected-Access denied message?

Hmmmm, anyone have a clue here?

The n3.announcements and n3.help groups have been changed to read-only,
you can't post to them anymore.  I suspect this was due to a general
lack of traffic on these groups.  I think they might actually be removed
soon, not sure on that one though.

It's because posting is only allowed by the moderator on that newsgroup.
