DTR - Where are the web sites?

by Doug Gordo » Tue, 14 Dec 1999 04:00:00

After moving to the Late Models and trying a few online races, I take
back what I said earlier about this game. This is really a lot of fun,
and much more of a challenge than I thought! Driving is tricky when
you're sideways most of the time, and setups are very important. One
very different thing from GPL is the changeability of the track
surface -- both the degree of "wetness" to start with, and the way it
changes during a race.

Anyway, since there's not much talk here on R.A.S., I'm looking for
links to various DTR sites. I have a number of questions about how the
on-line racing works. I'd also like to find out about any leagues or
regular racing groups that have started up, and especially if there's a
league/server for us "reflex challenged" older drivers and others at
the rookie level.

There are several popping up nearly weekly - here's a few - IVGA.com ,
Dirttrackin.com ,   BHMotorsports.com ,  Blitzsports.com/racing/dirt ,
simracing.org/dirttrackracing ,  AWTech.net/DTR (GREAT skins site) , ...
Check these and check links from them - that should get you started.
