One of the greats. I'll always be sorry that I was never able to see him
race in person.

Yeah definitely one of the greats, if not the greatest. He'll be missed on
the track but I think he's looking into team management so I guess he'll
still be lurking around grid :-)

Don't be sorry. Races he competed in were usually pretty boring with Mick
way ahead of the field.

Sorry to hear that, but as has already been pointed out, Mick ruled the
roost for a long time, to the point that GP500 got boring for me, and I
turned my attention to World SuperBike racing, it could be argued that Carl
Fogerty rules the roost there to, but WSB provides much more closer exciting
racing than GP500 these days.
No doubting Micks talent though, pity he never had much competition to give
him a run for his money.
I am sure he will be around in a lifestyle and sport he obviously loves.
Colin
He is the complete package.....and will be sorely missed.

For a change, try not rooting for anybody. View the racing from a
detached, scholarly point of view. You never know, you might enjoy it
more:-)

You know what, if Gobert had a brain and a little self control he could
probably be one of the top 3 in WSB or GP500 by now. What a waste of
talent.
