Ive tried the demo and found it fairly enjoyable. Has anyone got the full
version of the game yet, if so what is it like in particular whats it like
for online racing.

I havent seen the full version but they better get dual axis support fully
enabled or it might as well be a drink coaster for me ...

I have the full version, and I have some mixed feelings about it. I like
the way the karts handle, especially the two faster classes that become
available when unlocked. The graphics are nice enough, without being too
demanding on your system, and the sound is also ok. I like the game for it's
simplicity (no endless tweaking of settings, just hit that 'GO-button'), but
that's also it's weakness: there's little depth in this game. You can race
against yourself in training mode (ghost), against the clock in time-trial
(three or more laps, depending on track/class), or race against some not so
impressive computer opponents in championship mode. There's no
configurability in any of these events (number of laps, opponents, etc.).
Once you're done with all the events (took me about a day and a half), I
found there's really not much to do except drive around some more,
preferably against a ghost driver for some decent competition. I still think
it's fun to drive, but there *really* should have been a multiplayer-mode.
I'm still hoping they will make a multiplayer add-on for this game, I'd
rather chase people that polygons. I do believe the game is worth it.

I have the full version and can confirm that it does not have dual
axis support ;-( but I get more "workout" from it than all my other
games, like F12002, GPL, Colin McRae Rally, etc. All the twists and
turns sure work up a sweat... All in all, a fun game, but not a true
"racing sim".

Cheers,
Jerry
