rec.autos.simulators

I have been trying to get to the IWCC homepage every now and then for the
last two days, and every time it says "host contacted, Waiting for
reply", but it never sends anything.  I even tried just going to
www.xmission.com and it won't respond either.  Is anyone else having this
problem?

Hey Brian,

Yea, the problem is back again and is still a problem today, 6/24.

There's nothing wrong with your provider, the problem is on Tony's
end at xmission. Give it time, they'll straighten it out.

Blame Xmission, our Internet Service Provider.  This is one of the
downfalls of being non-profit -- our server sucks BIG time.  At one
point I had looked into getting a Virtual Server, but 100 bucks a
month is much too expensive for me to afford, especially with a new
baby to care for.

I'm looking around for an ISP in Utah that hasn't oversold its
bandwidth, but it's not looking good.

The problem seems to be fixed now.  I stopped by and looked at the
pictures of the future queen of computer motorsports, congratulations.

Also, in absence of a Michigan cars96 update, I have changed the spam car
to match sunday's race if anyone would like to download it.  It is at
http://www.4w.com/pages/fox/spam.zip.

There is no link to it on my page, you will have to follow the one above.
 I mainly just did it for people in Nass '96 who update their car set
every week(assuming I'm not the only one).

I have a problem also, but Tony has been having trouble with the server
and wants to move to a Virtual Server to help speed things up. It isn't
just his site but EVERY site that www.xmission.com has.
