Comparison  GP3 / F1 2000 / GPL,     i like it if you copy this and add your
own opinion....

Well I never played GPL, so maybe someone else can add his comments in here
concerning 'gpl'. Ofcourse it should be nice to copy this and give your own
comments on a scale from +  till  +++++

I think you should use the word "realism" as a criterium !!

+ = bad      +++++ = great

Are you saying the f12000 laptimes are real???? COME ON! People are driving
5 secs per track faster as the normal times...

Okay, now i want who you are talking about. Because when i practise a lot.
And i mean a lot. Then i come to pretty same laptimes than reality.
I think maybe you are talking about people who are in hall of fames. Now, i
can tell you one thing, they use the patch, where you can 'disable Identical
player vehicles model' and 'all cars equal to off'. Thats how you can get
for about 30-40 more horsepower. Its really true !!!

Now i find this a way of cheating. So when i say the laptimes are pretty
realisctic, i mean, when you race it without cheating !!!

It does'nt I've been enjoying it hugely but this means it has to go
straight back.  I can't believe they did not model this, GP unlimited
has a 6 degree's of freedom gyroactive suspension superplanking model.
4 years !!!!!

I'm disgusted : )

Regards Mike

I had no problems running laps in F1 2000 which were faster than real life,
and believe me, I'm no great whiz at these sims. This was both before the
patch and after. In F1 2000 I improved a lot when I started fiddling with
setups, although I'm not really sure if was the setups or just getting in
more practice.

To the best of my knowledge, the 'disable identical player car' feature
simply *reduces* the capabilities of your car if you choose to drive a
backmarker vehicle, rather than allowing a Minardi to have the same
performance as a Ferrari when the player drives it.
