Then doing a pit stop, why oh why do I get an external view?! It does
nothing but spoil the immersion, so why do it like that?

  In F2001, and so I assume 2002 too, you could modify a file to stay in the
***pit.

   Can't remember which one, but check out the sites, they'll have
instructions.
