Looks nice BUT it always worries me when they don't advertise in-car views.

I sure hope it's not like the follow-up to the original Network Q Rally
Championship which was an arcade loser with ridiculous tracks and
physics...though the graphics were nice.  The original just needed a
graphics and physics update, but we got a fantasy arcader instead
(International Rally Championship was the title).

All RC needs is better physics and it would be a 10/10.  I cannot understand
why companies waste time creating fantasy tracks that are not half as good
as the real tracks that out there they can just copy/recreate.  The images
of the sequel look like fantasy tracks to me.  Looks like a no-license
rehash of the original and since realism will be out the window, they won't
even bother updating the physics.

Marc.

Hahahahaha.  This one has "arcade" written all over it.

Well, RC did have gorgeous tracks and graphics, if somewhat awkward
physics. Looking at the screenshots, I can't really see in what respect
this one could top that effort, and plenty of where it could be a step
back.

One of the screenshots shows the car in a sewer or something. What is up
with that. I have never seen a rally in a sewer. ;-)

Ymenard doesn't expect me to say this, but this is very likely not a sequal
that resembles RC2000 very much at all except in graphics. Magnetic Fields
is not the developer anymore (no longer exists). I beta tested RC2000, but I
think I'd skip this one without them as developer. Actualize has hired a
software co. called Warthog to do the sequal.

RC 2000 is better.
This one is just a step backward: the tracks are too wide, like CMR, the
graphics
of the car are less good as RC 2000.

No, I think that only senile person would even dare to say that the sequel
(c'mon it's has the word "Extreme!") would be a serious simulation ;-)

You're a troll, but not a senile troll.  Hehe.

What I like about RC2000 is that they had an ambition to simulate Rally
driving when they made it.
It's sad to see that they are going the arcade i.e. the mainstream route
with the sequel to RC2000. Isn't the market flooded with the likes of CMR2,
RM and NFS? :-(
