This is an offline event using NASCAR Racing 2 with the Busch
Grand National Track and NASCAR Racing 1999 Edition (for the Truck
division).
The next big **OFFLINE** event for the USA Series will be the
World Series of Internet Short Track Racing.
This event is actually nine straight nights of exciting short
track action at the half-mile New Smyrna
Speedway. Once again, we will feature three divisions of
racing action: Late Models, NASCAR Modifieds, and
the Trucks (NR1999). The event will be held beginning on
February 11 and run through February 19, 2000. This
is a simulation of the real World Series of Asphalt Short
Track Racing, held since 1966 at New Smyrna
Speedway in Samsula, Florida, about ten miles south of
Daytona. Some past winners of the real World Series
include, Mark Martin (1977-1978),*** Trickle, Butch Miller,
Richie Evans, Jamie Tomaino, Joe Ruttman, Bobby
and Donnie Allison, Reggie Ruggerio, Tommy Baldwin, Brett and
Geoff Bodine, David Rogers, Pete Orr, Matt
Kenseth, Mike Garvey, and many others over the years.

**ENTRY DEADLINE - February 4, 2000** - this deadline applies
to both entries *and* car/truck files.
Three divisions (N2/NR1999 ONLY; no N3) - Late Models,
Modifieds, and Trucks
Qualifying and 25-lap feature each night for all three
divisions
Series dates - February 11-19, 2000 (nine nights)
As of this time, the entry form is not working correctly. If
you would like to enter the World Series, send an
e-mail with the info requested (driver's name, car #, etc.)
at the registration page at the URL above, and
*are* a few slight rule changes coming for the
World Series and these will be posted as soon as possible.
