I have a Thrustmaster T2 but sadly never use it,  reason being my
upright seating position just isn't cutting it.  Lucky I have a good
enough joystick to be a contender, but after my first few online races
with GPL I decided to go the Way of the Spod, and try and make a decent
seating arrangement for my wheel.  GPL is worth it - the ridicule of
"cool" friends who only play bleedin' Red Alert etc.

My question is, are there any websites/faqs with instructions on how to
build a good virchual seat thing?  I wouldn't dare design my own.

Sorry about the non-auto sim posts,

Ian

Go to a junkyard and buy a seat from a junked car, one you like the seating
position of.  Screw it to a piece of plywood and***the pedals to the
other end of the wood.  Then, just build a litte cubular frame to come up
over your legs and in front of you and clamp the T2 to it.  Set your monitor
on top of it.  Voila.  It won't be pretty, but it will work.
