F1CS2K steering freeplay, solution.

For those of you who are interested, I have discovered why my LWFF had so
much freeplay.  Apparently, if your wheel is device #2 in Windows 98SE,
F1CS2K, for some reason applies a tremendous amount of freeplay in the 'X'
axis only.  3-4 inches worth of freeplay was resloved by merely assigning
LWFF device postition #1 in windows.  Go figure.

I always keep my wheel in the # 1 slot.  I'll remove it if I want to use a
joystick...it's a bit of a hassle but keeps the conflicts to a minimum.(well
at least I USED to keep it on #1.  Back when I could get it to WORK!!!!!)
dave ggggrrrrrr henrie
6 days without a lap turned...even my cycle sim that uses a joystick is
affected...I'm going through withdrawal...what's next??  trying a RTS
game???
