Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level, then beats you

And so it should be. They're usually very strict about the speed
restrictions. N3 simulates this well.

I didn't realise there was an option in N2 that allowed for rev-limiting
in the pit lane, so I used to go one further to make sure that I didn't
exceed the pit lane speed limit. I would ensure that my first gear was
set up so that when the spotter said "Keep it under 4500" or whatever,
then I would play around with my first gear during practice until when I
was keeping it just under 4500 then my pit lane speed would be pretty
accurate and the spotter wasn't talking out of his ass. Saved me having
to write anything down or remember anything. :-)
It didn't always work, on odd occasions as I changed my 1st gear setting
the spotter would change the rpm to keep it under, but on most occasions
it worked great!
I haven't yet got N3 so I'm not sure how this translates to it though.
I'm expecting it gift-wrapped this Christmas. :-)

No person's opinions can be said to be
more correct than another's, because each is
the sole judge of his or her own experience.
