I bought a new computor.i kept the old one all setup.installed n4& n2k2 on
the new.I thought I would go back& practice on the old computor.I am trying
to use the same disc on both units switching back& forth.when I go back to
the old computor I can get no ping in the ping line for
mutiplayer.everything else works ok off line.When I go back to the new
machine sometimes I get some kind of message that someone is logged on using
my key number.If I reboot the new everything is ok I can run multiplayer no
problem.tryed everything on the old no ping.Not a problem If I need to buy
new game disc.If I did & reinstalled on the old machine would that fix it.I
have cable & a router so if a friend would come over we could both race
multiplayer.I know I would need both copys then.

You have to have 2 unique copies to be able to have both on-line at same time if thats your
question.

The only way two of these sim installs can be registered at Sierra at the
same time is if one of them is a dedicated server. A player hosting with the
same CD key as someone trying to join will not work, even two players trying
to logon to Sierra with the same CD key won't work, first one there
wins...you need two CDs.
