The physics in this sim are absolutely terrific.  The replays actually look
like real eurosport broadcasts.  The engine sounds suck though.  I like the
way all of the bikes handle totally differently.  I like the Suzuki best.
Also the driver-cam is very good, with the head tilting like in real life.

Certainly! If you thought Superbike World Championship was realistic,
you ain't seen nothing yet!

I have eurosport and I'm playing GP500 at 1600X1200 all detail on and like a
few million fps but I defenetly have to say it's not nearly as good looking
as Eurosport. The bike looks really good but the scenery around the track is
pretty bad, and everything is pretty dark, but almost every game does that
with my TNT2.

Its that TNT2 your using. Looks better than anything else w/ a V2 or newer.
Course I havent tried eurosport but GP500 is way more "defined"
(graphically) than GPL.

Hi

but how does this compares with SBK?

I have SBK but wonders if I should get GP500
screenshots look great
but then I am very happy with SBK
( thinks it is the best for bikes )

Wonder why doesn't EA do the same
for F1 cars using the SBK engine ?

I have SBK and have been playing with the GP500 demo.  They are both very good
looking and run smoothly.  The biggest difference to me is in steering feel,
GP500 has WAY more of it than SBK.  I haven't been able to get into SBK because
of the lack of it.  Also SBK seems to require you to slow to an unrealistic
speed to get through the corners, whereas GP500 feels closer to reality.  I
would gladly trade my copy of SBK for a full copy of GP 500.

I preffer SBK personaly.  But in the end comparing SBK with GP500 on turning speed
is the exact wrong thing to do.  Fact is SBK is heaver and turns much slower than a
500cc Grand Prix bike.  Thats one of the major parts where 500cc GP bikes are
faster than SBK, look at the times on courses they both go to.  And think, ppl say
bigger is better.  But both are good games.

SBK makes you go way too slow around corners.  I can take corners
faster on my street bike!  Go thru the first chicane at Monza with the
game, then watch it in real life on an SBK Video Review, and you'll
see how much faster the real guys go thru that chicane.  If they fix
that, along with the slow AI, and the poor multiplayer performance,
SBK2000 will be a hit.

yeah

I get the feeling in SBK that there is NO STEERING
BUT leaning the bike to corner

if you think along that line, then the game works well

but I am not sure if that is realistic
being never a bike rider myself
