MGPRS: performance of the teams

by Axel Schluet » Sat, 13 Mar 1999 04:00:00

Hallo,

I've tested the performance of the teams in MGPRS to know which team has
to be on which slot for 1999.

I've done two qualifyings on eight tracks in the speed-modus (? - I have
the german version and don't know the korrekt English designations). These
16 results give the following ranking (fastest to slowest):

Team 2
Team 3
Team 4
Team 5
Team 6
Team 7
Team 8
Team 11
Team 1
Team 9
Team 10

So I prefer the following distribution of the teams:

Team 2  Mclaren
Team 3  Ferrari
Team 4  Williams
Team 5  Jordan
Team 6  Stewart
Team 7  Benetton
Team 8  Sauber
Team 11 BAR
Team 1  Prost
Team 9  Arrows
Team 10 Minardi

But the best solution would be a performance editor (like F1RSRAYS by
Martin Granberg for F1RS). We need such stuff!

Greetings,

Axel

Is it possible to alter the relative performances by modifying the engine
RPM's in each of the car setups?

But that wouldn't modify the AI cars.

No - the setup affects only Your car.

Try the new performance-editor MGPPower by Ren Smit (http://
www.mgprs2.com/). It helps a little, but can't change the performance
fundamental.

Axel
