I cannot play N2 with my friend for some reason.... We both have the
game installed, both have CD's, and both have the same MULTI list (the
one from the CD) But when we connect, it says "waiting for call, blah
blah" but then after the computers quit screaming, it says connection
failed. Anyone know why??

Well if you are both getting a "waiting for call" that would be a big
clue. One of you should get "waiting for call" while the other actually
calls. Of course this is obvious though so I am sure it is not your
problem.
I haven't tried N2 via modem yet so I am not 100% sure. But I have
done ICR, ICR2 & GP1 & GP2 and it is all about the same. Plus
the Papyrus stuff was awesome while the MPS modem play just
sucked. If anyone is in the 630 area code & wants to give N2 a run
let me know.
