Indy here myself... I am not the best at GPL... NROS guy but I am not
"horrible".

sweet. Now I go back to my wife's (my old) computer, an AMD K6 233 w/
Voodoo 1, and GPL makes me want to cry. ;)

Only a 56k connect here, so I don't host much. Here's where I should
whine about lack of a cable or ADSL connect in this area, but I guess
I should be glad -- we finally got indoor plumbing in Green Bay last
month. ;D

Horribly fast at N2 maybe :)

This LAN thing has really got me thinking. We should
try to link up with some regular race, maybe at IRP
or 16th Street, and make it a demo type thing that the
public could see. We could do GPL and N2. I'm sure
we could get sponsors and prizes.

Anyone else really interested in working on this?

Heehee! :-) I'm west of Milwaukee. We don't have any damn digital
connections here either, as I'm not sure I consider ISDN as a "good"
digital connection... I'm holding out for the same connections you are.

Well, whichever one of us gets it first and hosts, we'll have some
killer lat's... it'll almost be like on a LAN! ;-)
