the 1998 winston cup cars are out and once again are looking good. I am awed by
anybody out there that can make these cars look anything like the real-life
rides, but these guys seem to be able to do it even better.

Ditto!
These are the best "REAL" cars on the net.
Great job Dave....

Stop on by, what can it hurt?

FYI, updates to the complete 1997 set (stats/bios/settings updated through
the end of the '97 season, plus some paint changes/improvements), will
be uploaded shortly, along with a few new '97 cars. The '98 cars for
Marlin and D. Green are next in the pipeline.

Hi,
Another great job has been done by IWCCARS! I was impressed with
the detail on some cars, it even looks like they got the flames right
on Tod Bodine's new car! (something that I would think is quite
difficult to do!) Keep up the great work!

Nonsense!.....Patrick Gilmore apparently does NOT do the cars for IWCCCARS
anymore...and frankly..it SHOWS!
I guess none of you guys have been to

Chris Frederick (Racing Headquarters) also did a heck of a job on the 98 WC
cars. I especially like the shading and lettering, very nice effect. I
agree, hats off to anybody that has the patience to do a realistic car set.
Thanks guys.

Patrick Gilmore was only with IWCCCARS for a short time, and he was
not an original member of the team.
Although he did some of the cars in last year's car set, he didn't
do all of them. For the record, I did the first NASCAR 2 car ever
done for IWCCCARS (Dale Jarrett's #88), in fact it was finished
before the sim was released (I was a beta tester).
I'm no longer able to do cars for IWCCCARS on a regular basis, but
there are plenty of folks on the team that are as capable or more
capable of doing great work than me or Patrick Gilmore.
IWCCCARS has never been a "one designer" operation, and it never
will be. And the new set was done by the same bunch of designers
as the previous sets.

Why complain about somthing you get for free. If you can do it better, lets
see your 98 car set.
I for one am glad someone has the time and is willing to give to everyone
to use at no cost.
Thanks IWCCCARS team.
