I cant get a car/truck with my own number to come up.. I have tried to
set under Driver Info,, and all i get when i pull up to race is
player-76,,
  Anyone else have the same problem??
I would appreciate the steps to get my name and any number I assign
to show up for racing with the chosen number on the car..

What you need to do is have your car/truck assigned to the first position on
your list.  If you noticed #76 Steve Park is the first driver on the current
list.  As soon as you delete The Player car/truck you have to use the first
vehicle on the list.

Hopefully this is fixed in N3/2000 or whatever it will be called.
