I'm sorry to keep posting about this, but once again, I'm stuck.
I've tried to install N1 several times and every time it fails to
verify nascar.exe. When I run the "failed" program, a lot of times it
crashes while trying to run DOS/4GW. Now, I thought it was my CD Rom
player, but my diagnostic program says it checks out. Could there be
a problem with my system and DOS/4GW?

When I originally installed N1 acouple years ago I had much the same problems.
Things just wouldn't work right. Sometimes I'd get them to work and suddenly
in the middle of a race BAM it would kick me out w/ DOS/4gw errors. After
tons of frustation and tears I took the mal-content computer in and after 4,
yes 4, mother boards I finally got one that worked or was fast enough to
handle N1 on my 486/100 machine. So it's just a thought that maybe it's a
hardware problem...I would have never guessed it because everything else
worked perfectly at the time I was having all of those troubles.
