I have had N2 for 2 years now & never had a car overheat,,,the crew cheif says

How long are your races? I learned the hard way about red lining when
I started running full length Winston Cup races. Mostly using the
standard Ace settings for gearing, I had three engine failures in the
first six races (Daytona, Darlington, and Bristol), plus I had an oil
pressure light flashing for the final 80 laps at Atlanta. I backed
out the throttle to keep from blowing it up completely and nursed out
a 9th place after leading quite a bit. I had never seen these types
of problems before I started doing long races, and all of these
failures (except Darlington, which was on lap 7, a fluke) were later
in the race. Daytona - lap 48, Atlanta - lap 240, Bristol - lap 398.
All were preceded by the spotter telling me to watch the gauges many
laps before. I've since adjusted my setups to not hang out in the red
zone at all!! Setups for shorter races, and for qualifying can be a
little more risky.
