We need a utility that would allow the use of multiple controllers as
a single game controller.

I have a Logitech Momo wheel that I use only the wheel and I use the
pedals that my brother0in-law made that are connected to an Act Labs
force RS and I also have an Act Labs USB Shifter. It would be nice to
have a peice of software that would allow one to say I want a device
that is made up of these other devices and makes this device, so that
one could use the configuration they want with games that can not do
this on their own.

Anyone want to write it?

Steve - the truth is we shouldn't be in need of such a device! AND we
wouldn't if the noddy software companies that produce what some people
in ras laughable call racing sims, had a forking clue.

Oh well, we can live in had I suppose.

You're right.  We _shouldn't_ need it.

But we do.

If I'm not mistaken, CH has this sort of utility for their
controllers, where you can make it all appear as one device.  It's
doable, it just takes some one to write it.  I don't think there is
demand for it since most "real" sims like GPL, F1 200x, etc, support
multiple controllers.

Yeah, QuickJoy.  Unfortunately, it has never been updated to work with
2K/XP.

This is something the Wingman Software does well.  When you select a
controller, it automatically moves it to the top controller position.
