Theme Music - GT-R2002 vs. ETCC2003???

by Tony L » Wed, 19 Nov 2003 02:42:27

After extensive listening to the two menu music themes, I must say
that I prefer ETCC2003 even though my road car has more power than
these 2.0 buzz boxes!

But the mp3's are cool played back on my car deck.

Hybrid - Celebrity Science - Edit.mp3
Hybrid - Gravastar - Edit.mp3
Meat Katie & Elite Force - Toba - Edit.mp3

I was close though - "GTR2002 Official Theme.mp3" really make my push
my turbo Skyline hard :D

Do you know if the songs for ETCC and GTR2002 are original to the mod? Or
are they just stuck in there,  because the developers liked the songs??

I'd love to record a tune or two to be used in a mod, it'd be a neat little
contribution...

These are the default F1 Challenge songs - ETCC doesn't include custom
tunes.

'Gravastar' is an absolutely brilliant tune and perfect for a racing game
IMHO.

yes!

gravastar is awesome. hybrid have made some other good tunes aswell.

Dont forget the music from F1 2001 either, chicane had good songs there.

otherwise nothing still have come close to Ridge Racer Type 4 on the PSX.
From artistic style to music, nothing and i say it again, nothing have come
close to it!.

I honestly had no idea these were F1C tunes.

I installed F1C, dropped on ETC2003 and never even bothered to fire up F1C.

Because modern F1 driving games bore me.

I highly recommend Chicane's "Far From The Maddening Crowd" from which
much of the music was taken.  Great driving music, and very well
composed/arranged.

Er....so what's so earth-shatteringly different about ETCC?  The fact that
you can exchange paint without losing a wheel?  Or do you find F1 cars too
difficult to handle?
