anyone know how to get rid of the closing credits in N3?  also, why is the
CD needed to connect via the internet.  is there a way to eliminate the need
for the CD?

The need for the CD in Multiplayer is to prove that you have the real
Nascar3 and that you didn't pirate it from a friend or another location.  It
only takes 5 seconds to put a CD in!!!!  LIVE WITH IT!!!!!!!

Okay, but... why did they enable us to play offline without CD? As if
offline piracy is allright, but online isn't?!? It's a bit double, that's
all...
Anyway, hats off to any game company who still has some trust in the gamers
and don't put any kind of CD/copy/piracy control in their game(s). (Have you
ever played Midtown Madness? Their anti-piracy copy protection sometimes
prevents me from playing this game at all: it's way over the line: first
checking the CD for ages, and only after that it starts loading: very time
consuming and consumer unfriendly!!!)

Still, on the other hand, a small search for gamez on the internet makes you
wonder if the gamers are worthy of the trust Papyrus/Sierra gives them...

I hate CD checking, because usually I forget to remove the played game's CD.
When doing file management tasks with CD inside, I force to wait CD's spin
up
many times. Too irritating thing.

 Publishers are thinking we still using x2 CD-ROM drive, aren't they? sigh.
