What does is it mean when your pit indicator has a red X on it?

Assuming you are talking about F1GP, a red X on the pit
indicator means that your team mate has first grabs or is already in
the pits.
Hitting enter twice will clear this, but you may have to fight him for
your pit crew...not advised, just do another lap if you can.

Bind my hands for they cannot defend me from the pain,
Tie my feet for they cannot escape the tourment created inside my head.
I want to submit, but I cannot,
It will not want it, it cannot control it.
It will follow me, it will haunt me.            -J.D.R Nov'93

The other driver on your 'team' is in the pit.  Not a good idea to enter the pits while that it on.  You can hit enter twice to select pits, but may have to fight to get in.

Another question about the indicator, sometimes there is something that looks like a tire.  I have only seen this a couple of times on my car, but when riding with the lead car late in a race (after i have selfdestructed) this indicator comes on at about lap 33-36 for Monza.  I assume this is a suggestion to change tires, but the manual makes no reference.

Fannie Maeat it on.  You can hit enter twice to select pits, but may have to fight to get in.
