I did an install that I called "trackday". Started off with a fresh
install and then kept adding different cars. I borrowed sportscars
from the 2002 LeMans mod, added several stand alone cars like the FIA
pace car, the Mini, Toyota Celica, Opel Astra, the Arrows two-seater
F1 and loads more that I could find on the net. It all worked to a
certain extent. I was never able to tail an F1 car with let's say the
VW Golf but the Ai drivers occasionally finished high up with a
production road car like the Astra, ahead of some sportscars. I
gradually removed the F1 cars because there was no point racing them..
I installed these "trackdays" twice. The more cars you add, the more
likely some of them are going to cause a conflict of some kind (e.g.
they land on eachother in the pitbox because more cars take up the
pitbox of one designated team, or they cause CTD's..)
But in short, yes, you can have different cars mixed up, I never
succeeded in running different mods in a mix though...
happy motoring
