O/T How to find out if fullduplex ?

by V \ » Sat, 26 Mar 2005 02:52:09

Sorry for the off topic post, but you guys will know this. I have an MSI
KT4AV board, no sound card but AC97 onboard. Works great with my games
and the 4.1 system I have. I want to get a mic to record, but would be
nice to use it in other ways. How do I find out if I have full duplex.
Is it as simple as plugging into the mic jack? I've never used a mic and
have never needed full duplex, and now I am curious before I head out
and get it, would like to know.

  Thanks

I think you will find all recent soundcards, onboard ones too, are
full duplex.
