Charlotte problems in ICR2

: I CAN'T HANDLE!!!! Every time I try to get 'round the track I either have
: understeer or severe oversteer...same with 'lanta and Dover.  Oops...let
: me fix my grammar...but anyways, I get loose on a full tank 3rd lap at
: Atlanta.  C***te I haven't found yet...Dover I used to get a LOT of
: oversteer and still do...any ideas?  Any good setups I could get for these
: tracks?

Try softening the rear shocks for oversteer.  The banking causes some of
this so you need to soften it up.  Maybe turn down the Steering Lock as
well.  I have mine way down to 6 for these ovals using a joystick.

Try not to use too much camber on your front tires since the banking
makes up for some turning ability.  Try less stagger.  Stiffen the front
shocks (I use 100% stiff at these tracks in Q trim).

: I did a 237 at Atlanta and a 222 at C***te, and a 207 at Dover, so I am
: more of an expert on qualifying than the race.

Um, not to pop your bubble or anything, but you can get 240's at Atlanta,
231's at C***te and 215's at Dover.  You'll get there if you try some
of those changes mentioned above.

Oh, and you'll have to be AT or BELOW the white line to get those laps.
This makes the track "shorter".  Just be careful how many times and how
hard you hit the apron or you will be hitting the wall, or at least
spinning around and up the banking.

Being at or below the white line can make for a 2 MPH increase just like
that.  So don't forget to make the car stick down low or you won't get
anywhere near those speeds.
