CPR 101A: Error Message

by Epps » Sun, 11 Jan 1998 04:00:00

I've downloaded the CPR 101A patch, but when I try to run it I get the
message "This program cannot be run in DOS mode."  Any ideas on how to
remedy this problem?
Thanks

Just incase you are, don't run it in dos mode.  If not, I am sorry I don't
have an idea, it worked for me.

Try downloading the patch from The APEX again. I was having the same problem
and then I fixed it. The new cart101a.exe does not have that problem.

Thanks

P.S. If you haven't tried build 90 yet be in for a big suprise! Some love it
some hate it.

I have the same problem
does anybody have a solution?
CPR is not installed to the default directory on my system so I shall try
reinstalling with defaults and see if that helps.
If that is the solution it will be the lamest programming joke ever.

OK I tried reinstalling to the same directory but still got the same error
message. There are now some posts on the apex message board about the same
problem but no solutions have been offered. For the benefit of others having
this problem here are my system specs.
AMD K6 200 on Abit IT5H ver 1.5 motherboard
windows 95 osr2 (no.1 most likely cause afterall it is also microsoft)
Diamond monster 3d
64 mb EDO ram
s3 virge generic
awe 64
yamaha sw60xg

if anyone knows the solution please post it.
