You have to change the gears until a bendy arrow appears. (An arrow that
goes up then U turns back again)

It is only available if you have steering help on.
I hope this helps.

The "power turn gear" is only available (and necessary) with steering
help on. You can do a real-life power turn, however, with joystick or
wheel control. Switch off traction control (F7), accelerate slightly
turning in one direction, then turn full in the other direction and go
to full throttle - voila, at least a 180 deg power turn! Sometimes,
it's more like 360 deg, though. Like the real-life pendant, the
simulated power turn requires a lot of practise, but you don't have to
pay for the tire sets. :)

The "power turn" gear is good for Spa's first corner:)

I've also found that with my T2 setup, I can pull completely back on my
gearshift and hold it there and it engages the clutch.  I just give it full
throttle (even with F7 on) and I can power turn all day long!  In fact it's
too easy to over-do it!  Anyone else out there found the same method?

I do power turns all the time w/out the "turn" gear. Just shift to
1st, turn the wheel, & give her full throttle.  Like you said though,
you can over-cook it if you don't let off at the right time.
