So Aggressive!

I have to say this newsgroup seems to be very aggressive. It does not seem
that any one is really willing to except someone elses personal taste and
opinion on a product. It is great to have different views on a product, but
just because someone elses tastes do not match anothers, is no reason to be
aggressive and abusive.

Not to mention the apparent total abandon of any standards of decorum or restraint in the use of language.  This is a public forum and contributors should use the language they would if speaking in a public meeting.

But of course, there is a lot of pain out there.  There is the frustration of waiting for GP3 to be released, the provocation of others blatantly flouting copyright, and the disappointment keenly felt (by some) when they eventually get the thing.  The aggression is a consequence of the passion we all feel for this hobby.  Understandable, if not excusable.

Remember, "rec.autos.simulators" also translates into
"***agers.computer_games.vroom_vroom.woohoo.I'm_so_cool"
Since it IS a public forum, you have to expect that kind of behaviour.
Unfortunately we're not all rational ***s here.
Every NG has it's share of ignorant, childish and abusive people.  I just
filter them.
It's amazing how ***you can filter out...

Someone once said (forget who it was) that bad language was a sign of a lack
of intelligence, well maybe. Could just be a sign of the world that we live
in, the f  word seems to now be commonplace which I find regretable as you
now hear five year olds using it. err maybe we have a lot of five year olds
here. Someone once said...........................

Never argue with an idiot.  He brings you down to his level, then beats you
