Yes, you don't truly appreciate the benefits of a 3D accelerator until
they are taken away from you.  Have you tried playing regular Quake
lately?  I'm surprised I could ever tolerate the blocky textures.  If
there is one constant in software, it's that a release date is usually
the only day a game is guaranteed not to be done.  We'll just have to
wait and see how long the patch takes.

I have been racing with the Rendition ICR2 the past few days, so tonight I
figure I would play a little Nascar 2.  For some reason the lack of
anti-aliasing REALLY jumped out at me...;)  I heard that the patch would be
available before Christmas ?  Truth or fiction ?

Not slamming N2 by any means, but it's really hard to top ICR2.  It still
amazes me how  little it's talked about when it comes to Rendition Ready
games.  I'd be willing to pay for the other tracks enhanced, don't know how
anyone else feels about this.
