Unbelievable!  It's really awesome!

Well, I actually spent about $1,100 on the computer - but that was with
a $500 7950 GX2 video card.  This thing runs rFactor with everything on
max on three screens (with the TH2Go) at 90 FPS.  The TH2Go and
monitors added about $900 to the cost.  So the total with shipping was
about $2100.  It's amazing that a full-blown three monitor computer
setup that runs the latest sims with full graphics options is available
for that kind of money.

as they say, every serious hobby costs you 3000 Euros... with simracing,
that's every once in a while ;-)

Yep. Back in the day, I think I spent around $4,000 US to build a P90 system
with the memory being the most expensive item. I think I maxed it out with
about 32m..........Things have changed.

Right.  I remember paying over $200 for 4 MB RAM in 1993.  I was hoping
to get better frame rates on my 486 with ICR2!  :)  Now this computer
has 2 Gigabytes of DDR2-800 RAM that cost less than that 4 MB did.
