Hi ya'll,
A friend of Mine just got a T2, when we plugged it in everything
worked fine until he tried to  drive.

Left turns right and Vice-Versa.

Clues, ...... anyone?

Thanks

Robin,
I assume you are using either Nascar Racing or Indycar Racing.  You have
to go to the setup menu and set the controls for the wheel.   When it
tells you to turn the wheel left then right, do EXACTLY as it says.  If
you do the opposite, your controls will be backwards.

Just go to the controls menu and reset the steering, when it says turn
left and right, try going left only.

In the controls section when specifying steering you must turn the wheel left
first.

I've got the same problem, except with the pedals. The steering wheel is
great, but the pedals are backwards. I thought I calibrated everything
correctly in the Controls menu, but when I tried it at 'Dega, the "gas"
pedal let me just creep along (I thought I should be going faster than
150 mph at Talladega with the Ace setup) so I pressed the "brake" pedal
and accelerated on up correctly. I then tried tinkering with the setup
but couldn't get it to work. I did get both pedals to function well as
gas pedals, but that left me no brakes (which really doesn't matter at
Talladega, but I would like brakes everywhere else I go :)) Does it have
something to do with the order in which I calibrate the pedals?

Yeah, had the same problem with my T2 in Grand PrixII. Ok with
Indycar. You could go into the various control setup panels and
change the X-Y coordinates for "Joystick #2 " ( which is what the
game will see the pedals as ), but there is a much easier way to fix
this. When you are asked to push the accelerator pedal--PUSH THE
BRAKE. When you are asked to push the Brake pedal-- PUSH THE GAS.
Simple and fast.

Yeah...I tried that too, thinking that would fix it. Actually, pressing
on what should be the gas pedal gave a little acceleration, but pressing
on the "brake" pedal gave full acceleration. Releasing all pedals gave
brakes.

I had a similar problem with screamer I with pedals (y-axis).
It worked for this game when I removed the axis-adapter (a short
connection between the T2 and the computer.
Other games needed this adapter and few work with or without it.

There is a good Thrustmaster support by email:

They also send the axis-adapter for free if you need one.
