I had been*** off buying a new system. I just couldn't get my
head around rebuilding all my GPL stuff with all the tips, tricks and
track add-ons accumulated over the years.

Then I read a post on RAS a week or so ago, saying you can copy the
GPL directory.

So, i bought a simple USB flash memory card. Stuck it in my old
machines (no cd/rw in it) USB port (no drivers even required) draged
and droped it on the card, reversesed the situation into the new
machine and WOW, It work just as it was everthing installed and just
how it was.

This is a fantastic liitle device (only 2 inches long) and so quick
and easy.

Highly recommended

I don't think it would store my 6Gb of replays though... ;-)

There's a solution for that, too. It's done by driving faster!

This is how it should be. No registry kludges. Just copy the directory
and you're done. Easy enough to program, just not encourage by
Windows. They need designers. :)

In MacOS X this is just how it works (usually), it's the rule, not the
exception ;)
