Click on the WHEEL USB BLUE WITH PEDALS item in the grid for a photo

I have seen this wheel in some other online stores . This is real
cheap and I was wondering if someone tried it here.

It's a "no brand" wheel. The decals are removed. This was apparently
made by a well known company.

Anyone can identify it ? opinions on its quality would be welcome

Looks like a CH EXL 500 wheel, at least on the outside.  If so, it's a great deal at that price.  You won't get split axis, but the
minimalist pedals are better than they look.  And you can always add some better CH or AL pedals later if you like.

What's this wheel ?

Ah yes, I have one of these in my "collection" (I really must sell some of
my wheels!).  Mine is a Trust Racemaster, but I think that they have bought
it from some Japanesse / Taiwan company and rebadged it.

Its actually not a bad wheel at all, but the pedals are absolutely rubbish
unfortunately, no travel at all.  The wheel has a *** surround and has a
nice spring tension.

Hope this helps
All the best,
Ash

Yes, that is the EXL500 by CH Products.  It's a very, very good quality
non-FF wheel (one magazine even put it as good as the ECCI considering it's
price!).  It's solid, and lasted me and many other people for years.  You
either like the way the wheel feels or not, but it's very solid for a non-FF
plastic wheel.  Of course, I ditched the pedals for the oh-so-good CH Pedals
by the same company.

This one might be a little different in mechanism, as it has USB connection.

Thanks for your answers guys.
Do you think I'll have problems to use it on Win XP ?

Not likely; it calibrates just like a two-axis, four-button joystick.  Very simple.

FYI - the shifter is on the same circuit as two of the wheel buttons;  i.e., the top two buttons do the same thing as moving the
shifter back and forth.  So you have a shifter and two extra buttons, but not four.

It is the EXL 500, I have the EXL 500 and this one. This one is actually
much better. I purchased the blue model on uBid for 8.00.

The blue model is USB, unlike the EXL 500. I hooked it up and immediately
speeds were 5% faster. I have no idea why, I can only assume that the EXL
wasn't performing at maximum even with the pedal to the floor or it could've
been in the wiring, etc.

This model is still the best on the market in my opinion.

great deal at that price.  You won't get split axis, but the
better CH or AL pedals later if you like.
