I recently installed Direct X 5.0 and now iF-22 runs horribly, very choppy,
with 3.0 it ran perfect. (I have updated matrox and diamond drivers, so
thats not my problem)

HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS DANG Direct X 5.0? I want 3.0 back!.

My system specks:
Dell Pentium II 266mhz
64mb EDO ram
Matrox Millenium II w/ 8 mb WRAM
Diamond MONSTER3D
Windows95 OSR2

 Your problem sounds like one I had what you have to do is just use your
DirectX 3 drivers for you video card thast it and everything should be fine.
