I'm preparing a N2 FAQ

I'm in the process of putting together a NASCAR 2 FAQ. I'll be culling my
email and the newsgroup for questions. If you have any questions you'd like
to see addressed in the FAQ, drop me an email.

Dave,

Will it be at your website or posted here?

Thanks,

Both. I'll post a version here as soon as I have the first pass done, but
it is getting rather longish already, 400 lines so far. In the future, I'll
just post a pointer every week or so.

If you want to take a sneak peek, you'll find a preliminary version at:

Hey Dave

What I'd like to see addressed is the opposite of the Quikfix Guide -
tell what the _ill effects_ of certain chassis adjustments are
(independent of other changes).

For example, we know cranking up tire pressures increase grip (I
think).  But what is the trade-off if you do that?  Decreased tire
life?  A new push?

I figure this will take one eternity to research and explain and maybe
your FAQ won't be the place this question will be addressed, but I'd
sure as heck like to get my hands on something like what I described
above.

Thanks,

Alan,

I think that might be a bit more in-depth than I care to go in the FAQ, but
perhaps I can leave a pointer to a setup guide. BTW, have you taken a look
at my setup guide at the Late Night website? I think it does a pretty good
job of describing the tradeoffs in setup. If you think there's anything
missing, drop me an email, and I'll try to address it in the next revision.
The setup guide works just fine for N2, with the exception of the
adjustments you can no longer make to stagger and front air dam.
