I did it at the Ring!!!!!!
At the first jump I truned my wheel right, and when I touched the ground
I was ejected over the fence!!!

So it IS possible, they promised that in the first announcement, but I
thought everybody forgot :-)

Ah of course ;-)   . The place you did it is probably the best for passing
"over" the fence in GPL, I can't remember a better place.

I remember in the early build, the fence at the place you jumped was lower
than the rest, it was maybe 2feet high compared to the 3-4 feet that it was
everywhere else... Maybe it was intentional or not. but it was really a riot
since with the dip after the fence your in the air for at least 3 seconds !
Now continue on the grass, you can go for like 2miles far into the section,
and there's some pretty fun places where the car suddently jumps.

Try this going down the long straight after the esses at Watkins Glen:
Just after you hit 5th gear swing the car right and fly off the
track.... It's almost guaranteed that you'll be launched over the fence
by the small hill at the base. I've wiped out so many fans doing
this....

Cheers!

I did it at Kyalami after losing it on the kink coming up to the S/F line.
Ended up over the fence on the RHS of the track with no way back.

I've jumped the hedges on top of the grading at Spa, and jammed myself
past the tires in the escape lanes at Rouen. The fence at the Flugplatz
is something I can avoid jumping now. It's funny how fine a line it is
from feather soft landing there, to total disaster; there appears to be
no gray. The trick, it seems, is to lift slightly before cresting, and
then goose it just a squish as the fronts just get light. Interestingly,
speed isn't the issue on this jump. Timing it just so and landing on all
four is the trick.

Michael.

Maybe the guy at Avault would have given GPL a better review had he figured
how to jump the fence.

I had one experience where I not only jumped the fence but took out an
entire row of people that were watching! I'm not talking one or two
people here, I'm talking the entire row. My momentum just carried me over
them. Lucky for them (and me) this wasn't for real or there would be alot
of families that would be grieving now.

Then again, can we say Carmongeddon 3? ;-)

I have to see that movie again. The first and last time I saw that was at
the drive in theater and I was way too young to even know what the heck
was happening. In fact, the only thing I remember about the movie were
the races...and vaguely at that.

Fence?? That's a piece of cake.

I've just managed to flip off the road at Spa (I wouldn't have a clue
whereabouts - somewhere after my third spin)  and ended up with a railway
line between me and the track - thank goodness for Shift-R
