Ferrari "Sweet Candy" Setups

To all you folks who have been racing Lotuses since you installed GPL
(OK I confess, I have):

If you get a chance I would really recommend you go for a spin in a
Ferrari with one of Alison's "Sweet Candy" setups.

You can read the background info for these at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/, the idea is to
strike a balance between raw speed and stability, with more of an
emphasis on stability.

I have been trying one out on Monaco, where I always had trouble with
the Lotus. I am getting faster times there now with the Ferrari. From
what I have read, the Lotus beats the Ferrari in 1st-4th acceleration.
But, from my own experience it is twitchier and much less durable.

Whenever I brush a wall in the Lotus, I can feel the LWFF wheel get
wonky and I know my suspension has been damaged, I have to hit Shift-R.
Happens less often with more substantial bumps in the Ferrari.

Also, it feels like the Ferrari is heavier, I think you could
powerslide this puppy a little more reliably.

You might find you enjoy GPL more with this car.

Cheers, wtonsmann
