Here are plans for Homemade Steering System

A while ago, I built a steering/pedal system to play Indycar
Racing.  It worked so well, my friends started to ask me to
build a few for them.  If you want to see how I did it, I've
made a GIF available for you to see what's envolved.

Just go to my page at

    http://www.racesimcentral.net/~chudson/casey.htm

At the bottom, just hit the hypertext about the steering
system, and have a look.  This is my latest design, and you
will be amazed with how well it works.  Materials are just
various pieces of wood, a threaded metal rod, and a cheap $20
CH joystick.

By the way, I'd prefer this homemade system over the T1 any
day.  The feel is much more dynamic and realistic, and the
total cost comes to about $35!
