GP2 NO ANAYSIS

I am sure this has been talked about already but I still don't know the
answer.

When I try to review a hot lap or review my Performance Analysis, I go
through all of the steps which are explained in the manual but, I do not
get a .pa file and therefore no performance analysis screens.

If anybody has experenced this problem and fixed it, please post a
solution.

Thanks:

Lee

I had the same problems when I first installed the game from Windows95,
and then started the game from the GP2 icon.
I eventually reinstalled the game straight from DOS, and start the game
from DOS, and not from the MS-DOS command prompt inside Win95.
Restart the computer running MS-DOS, and start GP2 from there. Or
press F8 to start the computer in the previous MS-DOS version.
Then you get performance analysis.
Also a problem mentioned in the manual is insufficient amount of memory.
How much is not enough I don't remember, but 8 Mb could be not enough.

I had the same problem. When I first installed the game I turned off the option
for using the harddisk for swap file (main->options->advanced options), since I
have 32mb ram. I did everything right, and still got no .pa* files. However, as
soon as I turned on the "swap to harddisk" option, it worked fine. The manual
states that using this option could cause a brief delay over the start finish
line, but I have never seen that (yet?).

Bye, Arjen
