I'm biased to post this since I work for motorsims :)

There is some coverage about our sim and some pictures at:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

And as far as the whole week check
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Miguel Duhamel did a great job, taking both the Pro Honda Oils 600
SuperSport and his 3rd Daytona 200, not bad for someone that
had to walk to his bike using a cane.
Makes me very proud of my name <G>.

p.s. disregard what it says about the box game price,
what that means is that it's not been set yet, should be the same
as any other box game :)

The screenshots look great.  Let's hope that the final product rivals
or surpasses EA Superbikes and is able to extend the genre of
motorcycle sim racing.  Now if only we could get a realistic
controller setup to race with :-)   Anyone know the estimated release
date on this title?

Based on the way some of the AMA Pro riders responded to trying the game, I
think folks will be quite pleased.

Do you mean controller configuration, or the actual hardware? If you mean
the former, we'll allow you to configure the hell out of things.

The estimated dates posted by the article are as close as we're willing to
quote: "The game should be available for FREE download from the Motorsims
website very soon. It'll be available in a box-version later this summer."
The price they quoted was inaccurate, though - should be "under $50."

I meant the actual hardware.  Seems we're forced to use either a
steering wheel or flight stick for now, both of which aren't quite
accurate or responsive enough to simulate an actual motorcycle.

We're targeting a 4-axis stick (like a Cyborg or a Sidewinder). The
twist-rudder would control the forks, the stick itself the rider lean, and
the throttle would be ... the throttle. We're putting in a ton of
configurability to compensate as best as possibly for the variance in
response in todays controllers. A number of us here come from the flight sim
domain, so we do appreciate the fine touch needed to ride the edge of the
envelope - and how crucial that is to the validity of the simulation.

We are thinking about custom controllers for motorcycle simulations.
Possibly only a special throttle controller that would work with most
joysticks. Possibly a complete rig with handlebars. (Handlebars introduce
some fabrication issues in that the whole setup will have to be built tough
enough to withstand the torque of the player using them - otherwise the
thing will quickly end up in the "Joystick Graveyard.")

Right now, though, we're trying to get the game finished first.
