traditionally Nvidia has hidden the vsync button to get MS WHQL
certification. Utilities like Coolbits or Riva Tuner were needed to enable
this.

Before you begin the following be verrryyyy careful. If you don't
feel comfy about the procedure, do a search in google for vsync
utilities. As long as u don't delete anything you should be fine
though.....<cough> <cough>
start-->run, in run box type "regedt32"-->enter
expand the hives (click on the + symbol)in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak.
highlight NVTweak by clicking on it, once highlighted (the folder
should now look open), look on the right side window, choose "new"
..only thing u can choose :)--click "DWORD value" -->new entry will
show up "New Value #1" --> remane this to "CoolBits", yes, capital C
and capital B, no spaces no quotes.--> now, right click on "CoolBits"
and choose modify. In the pop up box, set "value Data" from 0 to 3.
exit/close regedt32.
now, when you go to your vid. properties, in the 3d page you will now
see a "more direct 3d.." button on the bottom, click on that and
you'll find the vsync settings. BUT wait! there's more! you'll now
see a new option "clock freqencies" which allows one to o/c the vid
card.
enjoy
cheers
