I downloaded the 'class' warez version (check me out, in with the lingo
already! :) and was thoroughly gutted to discover it didn't work after a
+10hr overnight download :o( THAT taught me a lesson... never again!

I'm completely ashamed of my behaviour and am horrified to see the
number of warez-realted posts on RAS! I'm terrified to think what will
happen when GP3 and NASCAR 4 appear on warez. RAS will loose all
credibility, I'm sure...

I will buy f1-2000 regardless of it's quality to rest my
conshunce...hehe I can't spell

Why didn't it work? Did you run the setup script? (the one that
takes about 10 minutes to run) Did you install it to F1FINAL?

There's nothing wrong with grabbing a warez copy of something to see what it's
like and buying the full version if you like it. Not much different from the
publisher releasing a demo. Of course, as long as there *is* a demo there's no
need for warez, but with the anticipation of a good contemporary F1 sim finally
being released I think a lot of folks just couldn't resist (you and me, for
instance).

Same here made me think about what i have done. They ask for money to make
BIGGER AND BETTER SIMs. its going to be hell once n4 and GP3 come out

Your contradicting yourself, since you haven't bought GPL. It's by doing
those actions that you will help Papyrus create better sims such as another
title with the new game engine, such as Nascar Racing 4.

And since you haven't bought GPL, don't expect anybody here to 1) take you
seriously or 2) help you on any problem you have. It's something we take
very at heart.

No worries Rob... there's IMO, absolutely no shame in trying to establish
whether you think something's worth buying or not. From what I've seen and
experienced you can make good on your promise.

Don't expect the directness of GPL tho', or you'll be very dissapointed.

yo yo yo, i've downloaded class, eviliso, tsuiso, and myth, and all work
fine if you extract everything properly, though, i have found the bat files
don't work under win2000 to which you do the job yourself

What sort of scruples do you have?
So it's okay to steal a car to test drive it just so long as you actually do
end up going into the dealers and buying one....is that what you're saying?

And if you "couldn't resist" doing this, but otherwise advocate honesty,
then you are a hypocrite of the highest order.

It's a *10* hr download?!? Wow, I'm GLAD I'm not into warez... It isn't worth
