Slippin' and Slidin' in SCGT

I have been trying a bunch of the "add-on" tracks for SCGT (using orginal and
add-on cars) and everybody is sliding off the track...missing turns and so on!
Is it something in the tracks, cars or in my settings?  I haven't raced a lot
of the included tracks to test yet.  Any help and suggestions appreciated.

One of SCGT's problems has always been the erratic AI behavior.  They
swing from side to side when attempting to pass and quickly overload the
car's suspensions and swap ends off the track.  Also they are not picture
purfect, the effect of missing turns etc is probably overdone.  This
wouldn't be such a problem if SCGT could reasonably handle more than 4 cars
online.
But....that is ONE of it's weaknesses.

circuits like Brand Hatch(short course) and Knockhill.)
