I video taped myself doing a few laps at Monza to demonstrate my 3 monitor
system.
You can grab the movie here:

That is really cool. I take it you are using the Matrox Video Card. Is there
a patch for GPL like the one for N2002 to make this work? Or how did you do
that? :)

Thanks, Phillip

Unfortunately not :(

Probably with three computers hooked up via a LAN.

Cheers,

But how does he get the other two systems to give him the side views?  Sorry
for my ignorance, but I can't think of how.     :-)

I'd imagine this to be explained in the link he provided here:

"My modified car camera files with instructions here:
http://www.frontiernet.net/~sletten/upload/58FOV_3mon.zip"
(haven't read it myself)

Should involve joining with 3 computers to a multiplayer race, using
the "live replay" feature on two of them to set up left+right monitor
and driving on the third PC.

Not as easy as Matrox card, but that isn't supported unfortunately :(

Cheers,

/Martin

Hehe, It's in the readme in the camera files zip.

My modified car camera files with instructions here:
http://www.frontiernet.net/~sletten/upload/58FOV_3mon.zip

Place each of the cam files in their respective folders
for both of the client computers.

The way it works is, 3 computers are networked, the center computer hosts a
multiplayer race and the other 2 computers join the race. Then you switch
the left and right computers to full screen live "replay" for your center
driver (you) and select the appropriate modified camera view. "Front
suspension" is for the left view and "Rear suspension" is the right view.

It was against the AI. You can use it online too, but you take up 3 spots on
the grid.
