I have attempted to play with a friend in a modem challenge and when he
phoned me, the modem answered, initialised but then stopped. It said
"Searching for remote modem" or something like that. Can anyone help
me?!? It would be well appreciated!
The error is 'Waiting for Remote' and is most often caused by improper init
strings for the modems. Double check both of yours, as well as try
reducing the connect speed to 9600 baud.
