OK, I'll answer you. I also have a Joyswitch. You can hook up all the
devices that will fit. The switch works well and saves the time and effort
of switching cables around. The problem is with windows 95. It requires
that the device in use is #1.
When I bought the Joyswitch, I had the same idea as you, but until the OS
changes, it won't work out to be quite as convenient as you'd like.
However, I still use it. When I want to switch controllers, I change it on
the propanel, power off, switch the Joyswitch, power up, then configure the
controller. I don't think it's a waste of money; it saves me from reaching
behind mthe computer and fiddling with cables.
