N3 Questions been "away" for awhile

First off I have barely touched N3 since I had to send my Thrustmaster Nascar
Pro Digital wheel in for warranty repair over 4 weeks ago....been out almost as
long as it worked before it went to heck.   After using the wheel I just can't
get into going back to the old joystick.  Consequently I haven't been keeping
up with this group either.

So I have a few Qs:

1:  The acceleration Pak.... It appears to be The complete versions of
N3/Ledgends/CTS.  Correct? So since I have N3 (that I got at Office Max for
$24.95 cause they mismarked them and the manager was kind enough to honor the
error and send a flunkie scurrying back to fix the prices) I would have an
unchanged version of this plus Trucks with a couple of extra tracks and
Ledgends.  Seems kind of senseless to pay the big bucks for what I already
have....or are there improvements to the N3 as well?

2:  The official patch has apparently been released I see.  There was talk of
this causing problems with people who have Daytona & Pocono in the N3 folder.
Is this just a problem for online play or does it***up the tracks in off
line also.....or is there no problem at all?

3:  Have I missed anything else important?

Yes, it includes the full versions of all three (note that CTS is an
expansion pack for N3, not a stand-alone title).  If you purchased the
Acceleration Pack you would install the Truck Expansion Pack over your
existing Nascar3 installation, install Legends as a separate game, and
do nothing with the included version of Nascar3 since you already have
it.  I'm not sure of the Acceleration Pack's price, but if you want
both Trucks and Legends it would likely still be a cheaper alternative
than buying the two individually.  If you just want the Trucks and
have no desire to get Legends, you can purchase the Truck Expansion
Pack separately from the Sierra Online Store for $20.

Correct

Again you are correct, although once you install the trucks, you will
be adding most of the features that the N3 patch address' such as all
the multiplayer enhancements.
You can buy the truck expansion pack from Sierra to add to N3:

You can still race those tracks offline and online.

The official N3 patch 1204 is for the stand alone N3. It is not for N3
with the trucks. The N3 with trucks patch is still in BETA testing.

1 Dunno

2 Dunno, but it's probably BS.

3 Yes, Snetterton (a track), the reason I kicked N3 back into action the
other day and have been re-hooked :O)
